Am I Worship +2?
Modern church culture has increasingly trained people to approach church as consumers rather than participants. Many people:
- Attend inconsistently
- Remain disconnected relationally
- Never enter discipleship pathways
- Never discover the joy of serving
- Struggle to develop spiritual maturity
The result is often shallow engagement and weak spiritual formation. Yet Scripture consistently presents the Christian life as:
- gathered worship
- shared life
- active service
- spiritual growth
- participation in the mission of Christ
The Vision Behind Worship +2
“Worship +2” is not another short-term program. It is a culture-building initiative. The goal is to establish three rhythms as normative Christian living within the life of Gloria Dei:
- Worship - Gather weekly for worship. If you’re in town, attend in person.
- Grow - Be connected to God’s Word and Christian relationships beyond Sunday worship.
- Serve - Use your gifts to bless others and advance the mission of Christ.
The heart behind this initiative is discipleship, not attendance metrics. Numbers matter, but they don’t drive vision. We are seeking to create a church culture where people naturally ask:
- “Where are you worshiping?”
- “Where are you growing in God’s Word?”
- “Where are you serving others?”
Over a period of time, Worship +2 becomes language that defines our congregational culture.
