Brant - Thee Small Group

This small group is made up of five Gloria Dei couples who have been meeting together for approximately 13 years. We gather every other week during the school year, taking a break over the summer, to study God's Word and encourage one another in faith. Our group takes a straightforward, discussion-based approach to Bible study, focusing primarily on Scripture while occasionally using outside resources to add context and insight. Rather than relying on video curriculum, we emphasize reading, sharing perspectives, asking questions, and learning from one another through meaningful conversation. Meetings rotate among members' homes, and both hosting and lesson preparation responsibilities are shared among the group. This collaborative approach helps foster engagement, fellowship, and spiritual growth for everyone involved. Petri - Crown of Life

We are a senior group that meets on the first and third Fridays at 10:00 AM, usually at Fran Kaufman’s house in Nassau Bay. When there's a fifth Friday in the month, we go out to a restaurant. We also do Bible study, currently going through the book of Luke.

F.I.G.S.-Kremer

FIGS (Fellowship In God’s Service) is a warm and welcoming small group made up primarily of women in their 70s and 80s, along with a few longtime male members. Originally formed as a group of empty nesters, the group has grown into a supportive community that values friendship, faith, and caring for one another through all seasons of life. We meet once a month on the fourth Thursday in one another's homes, gathering in the afternoon for fellowship, Bible study, discussion, and prayer. Meeting during the day allows everyone to participate comfortably and enjoy meaningful time together. Our Bible studies and devotions are led by various group members, giving everyone an opportunity to share their gifts and insights. The group enjoys thoughtful discussion, encouragement, and praying for one another's needs. With 13 members currently participating, including several widows, FIGS is a caring and faith-filled community that is always open to welcoming new members who are looking for fellowship, spiritual growth, and supportive Christian friendships.

Sauerwein - The Bereans

The Bereans small group loves Acts 17:11. We are in the Clear Lake area. Our amazing group is made up of members 50 and older. We meet weekly on Thursday at 7pm at alternate hosting homes, and we study the Bible at every meeting. We are open to singles and couples.

Our People (Hartman)

This dynamic group of about twenty members gets that, in life, you sometimes simply need "your people" around you. This has become the group's name - Our People. They live out the Christian life together and walk alongside one another. This group is mostly couples with some single members. They are an energetic group of 55+ members who love learning and growing together. They usually meet twice each month on Thursday evenings from 6:00-8:30 PM in each other's homes. Their meetings include a meal, a variety of studies, prayer, and lots of fun!

Herbst/Seelig - The Blessed

The Blessed Group is a vibrant and longstanding community of couples and singles in their 70s and 80s who are committed to growing in faith and enjoying life together. Having met for more than ten years, this group has built strong friendships while exploring God's Word through a variety of Bible studies and Christian literature. Our group currently includes 19 members and meets in one another's homes. While our meeting schedule is somewhat flexible, we remain actively connected through regular fellowship, shared experiences, and ongoing support for one another. Over the years, our studies have included video-based series, the book of Psalms, and in-depth explorations of various books of the Bible and Christian authors. Discussions are welcoming and engaging, making this a wonderful group for those who desire to deepen their understanding of Scripture and grow in their faith. One thing that makes the Blessed Group especially unique is our close-knit sense of community. We enjoy gathering for fellowship, sharing snacks, celebrating birthdays, and supporting one another through life's joys and challenges. The Blessed Group is open to new members who are looking for meaningful relationships, spiritual growth, and a caring community of believers.

Michalk - Redeemed by Grace Prayer Warriors

Empty nesters meeting on Wednesday evenings at 6:00 pm, rotating weekly at each of the member's homes. After fellowship and a meal together, we then move into a time of study and discussion using a variety of teaching videos, concluding with a praise song and group prayers.

Joyful Disciples

Solis Small Group

This action-packed small group is comprised of couples and parents with younger children. Kids and babies are welcome! The group meets every Wednesday at the Solis home. The group loves to do short videos followed by discussion and prayer, and they rotate through a diverse set of topics including books of the Bible, marriage, parenting, and discipleship studies. This team sometimes enjoys gathering together to break bread and eat together. While the group is open to new members, space is limited to ensure the group continues to have amazing discussions in the midst of caring for children and babies.

Lindsay - Mary/Martha

The Mary/Martha Small group meets the 1st and 3rd Thursdays from 9-11:30am on the couches near Kids Space.

Ruland/Carlson - The Harvesters

We have couples and widows between the 60's and upper 80's in age. We meet the first Saturday at noon for going out to lunch, and the third Thursday at 6:30 at Jean Ruland's house for Bible study. We will be studying the book of Ephesians starting this fall.

Eichberger - The Mustard Seeds

We are a group of Senior singles who meet at Kathleen Ross's house on the second and fourth Thursday of each month at 1:30 PM. We read the Bible verse by verse, having recently started in Genesis, and are currently studying the Abrahamic Covenant.

Buck - The Tie That Binds

The Tie That Binds is a fun and welcoming small group of empty-nester couples, ages 60 and up, who have been meeting together for more than 35 years. We gather every other Wednesday at 5:30 p.m., sharing dinner, fellowship, and meaningful conversation as we grow in our faith together. Our Bible studies often focus on books of the Bible and systematic theology topics, with recent discussions exploring the subject of angels. Beyond our study time, we enjoy serving together, participating in social events, and building lasting friendships. We are currently open to welcoming one new couple who is looking for deeper biblical learning, authentic Christian community, and opportunities to serve and connect with others.

Owen/Gremillion

We are a group of young families growing together in our faith and supporting each other in our roles as the primary disciple-makers of our children. We meet for Bible study and a meal twice a month and then schedule service and/or fellowship gatherings quarterly.

Cunningham/Stacey

This small group is made up of families with children from 3 years old to 8th grade. They meet on the 2nd, 4th, and 5th Sundays of each month for Bible study and fellowship, which includes a potluck dinner.

Knea-Taco Tuesday

The Taco Tuesday small group is a mixed group of families with older children who participate in discussions. We have Taco Tuesday for dinner and talk about our study.

Heiner

We are a welcoming group of adults, generally ranging in age from their 50s to 70s, who enjoy sharing a meal, meaningful conversation, and growing together in faith. We meet on the second and fourth Sundays of each month, gathering at one of several local restaurants immediately after church. Following our meal, we spend time discussing a Bible study and encouraging one another in our faith journeys. We are currently wrapping up a study and looking forward to selecting our next topic together. Attendance typically ranges from 5 to 10 people, creating a comfortable setting for discussion and connection. As one couple is in the process of moving, we have room to welcome new members who are looking for fellowship, Bible study, and a relaxed, conversational atmosphere centered on Christ.

Our group meets on the first Sunday of each month in the Bride's Room from 9:45-10:45am, and we are currently studying the book of John.

Fimble/Klein

Carlson

This group meets for dinner, Bible study, and prayer on the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays from 6:30 - 9:30pm. They typically meet at the Carlsons' home. At this time, they are currently at capacity due to space limitations.

Walkers/Janeceks

This vibrant and welcoming group is designed for younger couples and families with young children who are looking to grow in faith and build meaningful connections with others in a similar stage of life. We meet on the first and third Sundays of each month from 4:00-5:30 p.m. in Seabrook. Our group currently includes six committed families who gather regularly for Bible study, discussion, encouragement, and fellowship. We typically use resources from the Fully Alive app and RightNow Media to guide our conversations and spiritual growth. Beyond studying together, we enjoy supporting one another through the joys and challenges of family life while building authentic Christian community. We are open to welcoming another family who is seeking connection, encouragement, and opportunities to grow in their faith journey alongside others.

Pathfinders

Pathfinders is a welcoming group of seven couples, ages 55 and older, who are committed to following God's path through the study of His Word and growing together in Christian community. Formed in 2025 following the Awake Discipleship series, our group was created to provide an opportunity for those seeking meaningful connection and spiritual growth through a once-a-month gathering schedule. We meet on the first Sunday of each month from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. in the Bride's Room adjacent to the Chapel. This schedule allows members the flexibility to participate in a variety of worship opportunities while remaining connected to a small group community. Our studies are drawn directly from Scripture, with discussions that encourage participation from everyone, regardless of prior Bible knowledge. We began by studying the Gospel of Mark and are currently exploring the Gospel of John. Our conversations are thoughtful, respectful, and paced to allow members to ask questions, share insights, and grow in their understanding of God's Word. While Bible study is the foundation of our group, we also enjoy building relationships outside of our monthly meetings. We recently held our first social gathering at a local restaurant and look forward to additional opportunities for fellowship. We welcome new members who are interested in connecting with others, engaging in Scripture-based discussion, and growing in faith together. Our meeting space is somewhat limited, but with a little advance notice, we are happy to make room for additional participants.
