At Gloria Dei, we offer two main worship services in English with a special Discipleship Hour in between. We believe families grow stronger when they worship together, so during this time, kids and teens (K–12) enjoy age-appropriate ministries while parents dive into engaging Bible studies. It’s a great way for the whole family to connect, learn, and grow in faith!

This structured worship experience uses elements of the Divine Settings from the Lutheran Service Book (2006) and other expressions of traditional worship with organ, piano, and choir.

Traditional Worship

This style of worship provides the opportunity for individuals and families from all backgrounds to praise and glorify God through a fresh, modern worship experience. Music ranges in style from modern praise and worship songs to contemporary hymn melodies and modern hymn settings.

Contemporary Worship

9:45a Discipleship Hour

The purpose of this hour is to equip disciples of Jesus through teaching and fellowship, complementing worship and service opportunities.

For K-12 Kids, this means that they participate in age-appropriate classes that allow them to learn about God's word.

For adults, we encourage you to explore the different bible studies Gloria Dei has to offer.

Step Three: Navigate to Gloria Dei

Directions

  • Enter the main driveway from Upper Bay Road.
  • Proceed to the primary parking lot, located adjacent to the main entrance.
  • ADA-accessible parking spaces are available near the front entrance for those who need them.
  • Reserved spaces for first-time guests are clearly marked and located close to the main doors for convenience.
  • Drive-through drop-off locations are available at:
    • The Worship Center entrance
    • The Main entrance

    These are ideal for quick and easy drop-off before parking.

  • After parking, head toward the main entrance, where greeters will assist you and provide directions to worship or the Discipleship Hour classrooms.

Once you check in, a pastor will reach out via email to personally welcome you to Gloria Dei. This is an opportunity to begin building a relationship with our church family. We encourage you to:

  • Ask questions about our ministries, worship services, and discipleship opportunities.
  • Connect with a pastor or staff member to learn more about how Gloria Dei can serve you and your family.
  • Explore next steps, such as joining a small group, attending a Bible study, or participating in community events.

Our goal is to make sure you feel at home and have all the resources you need to grow in your faith journey.
